NSO Surveys A Success

Thank you to everyone that helped out with the first rounds of surveys for the Neighborhood Stabilization Overlay. We had eleven people turn out and were able to get both Hollywood and Montreal completed from Wright Street to Brandon. That puts us at just over 50% complete and we should have no problem finishing on our next survey date.

Next Survey is July 14th from 9:00 - Noon

There were a couple people at the June 30th survey that will not be available for July 14th, so we need more help. If you are available, please contact us at 214-850-8792 and let us know. Your assistance will be appreciated.

We will be surveying the following areas:

  • Hollywood from Brandon to Clarendon
  • Montreal from Brandon to Clarendon
  • Hampton from Wright to Rosemont Church.


    • We will be meeting at 1503 Montreal at 9:00a.m.

    Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 7th, for National Night Out.

    $$ SPONSORS STILL NEEDED $$ We haveve raised $150 so far to help with event costs, but we need more! Our goal is not to dip into the HHNA treasury for this event. If you would like to be a sponsor of NNO – please contact Rob via e-mail or at 214-850-8792. You can make a personal contribution or one in a company name and we’ll reserve space for you in an upcoming newsletter to run an advertisement.

  • A visit from the Dallas Police Department
  • Hot Dogs and Soda
  • Popcorn, popsicles and ice cream
  • Treats for your dogs
  • Pet Registration
  • Fun and More


    • The main events will be in the Rosemont Church Parking lot with additional activity stations set up throughout the neighborhood. Flyers will come out at the end of July with full details.
